What is CBD and how does it work?
CBD interacts with a cell network and part of the central nervous system in your body called the ECS (endocannabinoid system). The ECS can play a role in regulating the body’s stability. Many people associated CBD with other cannabinoids present in the hemp and marijuana plants. However, CBD is very different from tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive part of cannabis. Instead, it does not cause any sort of ‘high’ that many people associate with marijuana.
What does water soluble mean?
Quite simply, water soluble means the substance is able to be dissolved in water. Our Mighty Drops have already been dissolved in water. So they are ready to use however you want.
How is water soluble CBD different to CBD oil?
Water soluble CBD, or water based CBD, is CBD oil that is dissolvable or already dissolved in water. It’s much more precise, potent and quicker to act that normal CBD oil. Under the microscope, CBD oil tends to be very clumpy. So we break up the clumps into micro clumps and particles. Then we add a couple of normal food ingredients. And the result is CBD that can dissolve in water.
How long does it take for water soluble CBD to work?
When standard CBD oils are processed it takes a long time to become absorbed in the bloodstream. However, water based CBD oil like Mighty Drops, skip lots of the bodies digestive process. And critically being broken down to something else by tummy acid. So much more of the water based CBD oil gets into the bloodstream, and much faster. It can take 5 to 20 mins, sometimes 30 mins. Depending on the person.
How much CBD can I consume in a day?
Each recommended serving of Mighty Drops contains 10mg of CBD. We take around 2 to 3 servings per day to keep a consistent amount of CBD in our bodies. So anywhere between 20-30mgs per day. Everyone is different so its about finding what works for you. Authorities have suggested 10mg or 70mg is good per day – but they change their minds reasonably often, so we cannot say for sure what the current recommendation is.
When should I take CBD?
You can take CBD at any time. Most of our customers like to take some CBD in the morning and at night, though some prefer taking it throughout the day too. Find a rhythm that works for you. Essentially its all about creating balance. If you feel balanced taking a little bit at different moments of the day. Then super. Quite often we keep bottles by our bed so if we wake up, we can take a quick few drops without getting up and about.

CBD products are completely legal to purchase and consume in the UK and US, but check before you take the products to other countries.
